Has it really been a whole year since the last March and Rally? It is hard to believe as the time has passed so quickly. This year the route was from The High Street, down North Bridge, across Princes Street, along Waterloo Place/Regent Road and then up Calton Hill for the Rally.

The March organisers had suggested 11am as the assembly time on the High Street and we in turn had arranged to meet with some fellow campaigners at this time to the side of the Tron Kirk. However, we arrived onto the High Street, just before 11am, from George IV Bridge which in one way was a mistake. The High Street itself was packed with marchers at this time and it was time consuming travelling even the short distance down to the Tron. The result was we arrived late! The upside was it really got us in the mood for the day ahead.
